BARCODE SIZE
All Barcode types ('barcode symbologies') have a recommended 'nominal' size.
Most barcodes may be reduced in height (or 'cropped') up to 50% of the nominal size without affecting their readability when scanned.
The Width of a Barcode is much less tolerant and can only be minimally reduced.
To maintain barcode integrity and signal quality, ISO international standards apply.

- EAN-13 PRODUCT BARCODE (Worldwide) : 15 X 33mm
- UPC PRODUCT BARCODE (USA) : 15 X 33mm
- SERIAL BARCODE +2 digit add-on : 19 X 39mm
- SERIAL BARCODE +5 digit add-on : 19 X 47mm
- ISBN (Worldwide) : 21 X 32mm
- ISBN (US Bookland) 21 X 47mm
- EAN/UCC-14 (ITF OUTER PACKAGING) : 25 X 75mm
- GS1-128 (EAN/UCC-128): 25 X 80mm
These are the main barcode sizes. Other barcodes /dimensions will be provided on request.

Barcode File Formats
TIF & EPS are the most popular formats, or JPG for PC.
Barcode File Resolution
The standard resolution is 1200 dpi. Higher resolutions on request.
ISSN Printed Numbers
The ISSN number is normally printed above the barcode on publications. Please state if you do NOT require this.
